EXCLUSIVE: CBS Films has set Conviction scribe Pamela Gray to adapt Liane Moriarty’s best-selling novel The Husband’s Secret. The label has also hired Depth Of Field’s Chris and Paul Weitz and Andrew Miano to produce. The film is a priority for CBS Films head Terry Press. Published by the Putnam imprint Amy Einhorn Books, The Husband’s Secret has been on the New York Times combined (print and e-book) bestseller list for 51 straight weeks.
The novel follows three women whose lives are plunged into crises after one of them opens a Pandora’s box that ties all three together in ways no one could have suspected. Gray is represented by UTA and Judi Farkas Management. CBS Films’ Winnie Kemp and Mark Ross are overseeing.
